Our volunteer committee meets regularly at FANLAP, Calle Santiago 320, Col. Bella Vista, La Paz. The meeting is open to everyone who wishes to volunteer.
Our biggest event is our annual Subasta held the first Sunday in the parking lot of Marina de La Paz. People work year-round to prepare for this event, collecting used items in good quality which may be sold. Beginning in October, meetings are held at the meeting room in Marina de La Paz. During the year we have various other events for which we need volunteers.
If you´d like to help in one of our programs, the cooks can always use help in the kitchen, preparing the meals, serving or cleanup. The cooks are volunteers from the community. You´ll enjoy knowing them.
If you´d like to volunteer by teaching English, or reading to the children, or helping the scholarship students with math or any other subject, or help out in the library you may contact us by clicking the link below.
We could also use help from someone who has experience with grant writing or any type of fundraising.
