Visitors to La Paz can help our efforts to fund scholarships for underprivileged junior high and high school students by making room in their luggage for a couple of essential items. Here’s a current list:
- one or more back packs
- one or more wide-ruled, composition notebooks
- pencils and erasers
Our students come from underprivileged backgrounds but they work hard to give back to FANLAP and their communities. They also work hard at their studies and have a vision for their futures. You can help them achieve their dreams. For donation suggestions, please see the links in the left-hand margin of this page. Thank you.
In return for what they receive, students perform community service such as cleaning/painting in our building, picking up garbage in the neighborhood, painting over graffiti, tutoring other students who need help, and other work approved by the scholarship committee.
